The Cisco B250 M2 (Cisco UCS B250 Extended Memory) Blade Server builds on the already impressive performance of its predecessor, the B250 M1, by leveraging breakthrough Intel Xeon 5600 Series processing technology. Equipped with one or two processors, the Cisco B250 M2 scales to 384 gigabytes of main memory via 4 DIMMs, which is more than double of what standard x84 servers offer. The B250 M2 also supports two 2.5” SFF SAS drives for nearly 300 gigabytes of internal disk storage per module. As many as four Cisco B250 M2 blades fit into a single Cisco UCS 5108 Blade Server Chassis; 160 per Unified Computing System.
