The Sun Ultra 40 Workstation is a truly robust system that provides 64-bit capabilities and many hardware and OS options to ensure complete customization. With the ability to utilize one or two single or dual-core AMD Opteron processors, the Sun Ultra 40 packs a powerful processing punch. The Ultra 40 can also house up to 16GB of systems RAM, and can hold up to four ATA drives in 80GB, 250GB and 500GB options for a possible total of 2TB of storage. Sun Ultra 40s are also RAID compatible. Along with many hardware options, the Sun Ultra 40 workstation is also compatible with Solaris 10, Linux and Windows operating systems.
