The Oracle SPARC T4-1 Server is a high-performance, space-saving system that's powered by breakthrough SPARC T4 processing technology. Equipped with one eight-core, 2.85GHz SPARC T4 processor, the SPARC T4-1 Server boasts best-of-breed single-thread performance that accelerates applications considerably. Thanks to its on-chip cryptographic acceleration, the SPARC T4-1 offers enterprise-level security without hindering performance.

With 16 DIMMs, the SPARC T4-1 scales to 256 gigabytes (GB) of main memory. Oracle engineers designed the SPARC T4-1 for many strenuous applications, including web serving, application development/staging/testing, databasing, analytics and middleware/security. When configured with eight 2.5-inch 600 GB serial attached SCSI (SAS) drives, the SPARC T4-1 features 1.5 TB of internal disk storage.
