The Oracle SPARC T3-1B Blade Server is a highly flexible solution geared toward enterprise-class datacenters. Powered by the 16-core SPARC T3 processor, the Oracle SPARC T3-1B Blade boasts twice the throughput, twice the memory and quadruple the I/O bandwidth over its predecessors. The Oracle T3-1B, which features a compact design, can handle up to 128 simultaneous threads and 16 floating point units. With 16 DIMMs, the T3-1B Blade scales to 128 gigabytes of main memory.

As many as 10 SPARC T3-1B blades fit into a single Sun Blade 6000 Chassis, making for an extremely dense and efficient computing environment. Thanks to the T3 processor's innovative on-chip cryptographic accelerators, the T3-1B offers top-class security without sacrificing performance. Oracle's Integrated Lights Out Management (ILOM) minimizes administration costs while maximizing uptime.
