Oracle engineers designed the Netra SPARC T3-1BA to tackle the most strenuous of network infrastructure applications.

Powered by a single 12-core, 1.4GHz SPARC T3 processor, the Netra SPARC T3-1BA scales to 32 gigabytes of main memory via eight DDR3 DIMMs. The T3-1BA allows for up to 36 SPARC T3 processors to fit into a single rack, enabling up to 3,456 processing threads. According to Oracle's calculations, that's a 50 percent increase over previous systems.
