The IBM JS43 blade, formally known as the IBM BladeCenter JS43 Express, is a highly flexible and cost-effective solution supported by the IBM BladeCenter H, HT and S chassises. Powered by eight 4.2GHz POWER6 processors, the IBM JS43 scales to 128 gigabytes of main memory via 16 DIMM slots and 600 gigabytes of internal disk storage with two 2.5-inch SAS drives. What's more, the IBM JS43 supports a variety of operating environments, including IBM AIX, IBM i, Red Hat Linux and SUSE Linux.
