The IBM 655 server, also known as the IBM eServer pSeries 655 and the IBM p655, is a 4U datacenter solution known for its high performance and reliability. The IBM 655, powered by IBM POWER4+ processors, is available in four-way and eight-way configurations. The IBM p655 can handle up to 64 gigabytes of main memory and two hot-swappable 36.4, 73.4 or 146.8-gigabyte internal disk drives.
