With up to two four-core processors per blade, the HP BL860c i2 scales to 96 gigabytes of DDR3 memory via two dozen DIMMs and up to 600 gigabytes of internal disk storage with two SAS drives. The HP BL860c i2 Blade coexists with HP ProLiant and StorageWorks blades and supports the HP-UX 11i v3 operating environment.
