The Dell M710 (Dell PowerEdge M710) Blade Server is a full-height module that's highly energy efficient and boasts a large memory capacity. Optimized for virtualization and database environments, the Dell M710 Blade comes equipped with up to two Intel Xeon 5500/5600 Series six-core or eight-core processors. The Dell PowerEdge M710 Blade scales to 144 gigabytes of main memory via 18 DDR3 DIMMs and 1.2 terabytes of internal disk storage with four 300-gigabyte SAS drives. For flexibility, the M710 Blade is compatible with the Microsoft Windows, Oracle Solaris, Red Hat Linux and SUSE Linux operating systems.
