The Brocade NetIron CER 2048CX Router is a space-saving, 48-port solution that's optimized for strenuous Ethernet-edge routing applications. With four dozen 10/100/1000 RJ45 ports and 2 10 Gigabit Ethernet (GbE) XFP uplinks, the Brocade CER 2048CX boasts a forwarding performance rate of 136 Gbps, packet forwarding performance of 101 Mpps and 192 MB buffering. Brocade's Multi-Service IronWare operating system makes managing the NetIron CER 2048CX simple.
The Brocade 2048CX is part of the Brocade NetIron CER 2000 Series, which also includes 24-port models.
